The following are extracts from the Fort William Map :-

Commando Memorial to Spean Bridge and returns via quiet minor roads along Glen Spean and the River Lochy.
Take the yellow route to Gairlochy as described above. Turn right at the end of the Canal towpath and follow the River Spean a short distance upstream….

Red Leanachan Forest – Hard. 36km, 5 hours bike ride. A beautiful cycle along easy forest tracks and paths….. straight on towards the main ski area car park about 2km away or turn right towards the North Face Car Park and the Witch’s Trail single track area.
These World famous trails are for the MTB enthusiast and include a Championship Cross Country Course.
