The following is an extract from the Loch-an-Eilein Walking Map:-

Red Route Easy 4km, 1-2 hrs. Lochan Mor – The Lily Loch.
An easy walk from Inverdruie to the Lily Loch – then along a short road section to Loch-an-Eilein. Return is through Blackpark. This route is gently undulating with very few climbs.
Park at Inverdruie and walk through (or around) the field opposite the Rothiemurchus Visitors Centre. Enter the forest by a gate and continue up a gentle slope…….
